Braces (Orthodontic Treatment)
Teeth in improper alignment can be repositioned using braces (metal wires or brackets) or Invisalign aligners. Both treatment forms apply light pressure on the teeth to cause movement. Orthodontic treatment can only be performed on patients with healthy gums and teeth. Orthodontic treatment can be performed on children, adolescents and adults.
Indications:
• teeth in crossbite
• misaligned teeth creating areas difficult to keep clean
• severe overjet or underbite
• severe overbite or openbite
• cosmetic
