Dr. Ing obtained his BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from Toronto Metropolitan University, where he was granted the Undergraduate Research Opportunities award for his research in microbiology. He then graduated with honours from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where he also led their recreational Dentistry Dragon Boat team "Plak Attack" as team captain. Dr. Ing completed a postgraduate residency in Buffalo, NY, as part of the NYU Langone Hospitals Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.
